The Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS) is Singapores national institute for applied solar energy research. SERIS conducts industry-oriented research and development as well as use-inspired basic research in the field of solar energy conversion. The institute collaborates closely with industry.

Administrative Assistant

Requirements:

• LCC Higher; with at least 10 years of experience
• Good computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft office and Visio
• Familiar with the use of SAP system
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

 

Job Scope:

Administrative job scope:

• Provide secretarial support for Director, Administration
• Coordinating for Board and Management meetings
• Handling reception duties to relieve receptionist when required

 

Finance job scope:

• Process TRAC claims
• Complete grant application forms
• Create daily backup of data
• Process AR billing for monthly fixed recurrent items (eg.rental)
• Prepare graphs for monthly financial updates
• Coordinate with relevant parties in NUS for opening of new accounts
• Prepare journal adjustments for cost transfers and other reclassifications
• Prepare Request for Payment to reimburse external collaborators from the Grant received from EDB
