Presently, we build, own and operatea 500 MW cogeneration plant, after we entered the Singapore electricity pool, following thederegulation of the power market in January 2003.The plant is one of the more cost efficient and flexible power generators in the market. Thedevelopment of Keppel Merlimau Cogen is in line with Keppel Energy’s strategy of achievingreturn-driven growth in the energy business through selective development and provides theplatform for Keppel Energy to seek further growth options in the Singapore electricity and gasmarkets, and beyond.

Safety Supervisor (Jurong Island)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) management systems and procedures necessary for safe, reliable and efficient operation of the Power Station
• Fulfill legal requirements for Workplace Safety & Health Act and other regulations
• Fulfill legal requirements for Fire Safety Act & other Regulations

Requirements:

• Detailed understanding and knowledge on HSE Legal & other requirements
• Good understanding of Power Station process and setup
• Good time management, team sprit qualities and skills
• Sufficient knowledge of fire safety, life safety equipments and items
• Diploma in Engineering
• Approved Workplace Safety & Health supervisor course / WSH related approved courses
• Transport will be provided at Jurong East MRT for positions based at Jurong Island
